A Covering and Elegant Wedding Khimar

The 3-Layer Khimar by Oummi Abi Moi was designed to combine, in a single product, the coverage of a maxi khimar and a 3-layer sitar. Its cut has been carefully designed to cover your shape and fully respect the conditions of modest Islamic dress.

We added two veils in crepe muslin to this khimar. These veils can be lowered in front of the face to be worn as a sitar. This way, the khimar can also be used by sisters in a state of sacralization during pilgrimage, without falling into the prohibition of wearing the niqab at that time.

This model was inspired by combining a maxi khimar with a 3-layer sitar. When the two muslin veils are left at the back, they flow gracefully while also providing greater coverage around the hips. Finally, it includes the niqab option with integrated ties, just like all our khimar models.

It is also perfect for sisters who want a khimar with a unique design that stands out from the ordinary. Our 3-Layer Khimar is unlike any other, with a very distinct style compared to regular muslin khimars. And if you prefer simplicity, you can always choose our Classic Maxi Khimars for a more traditional cut.

Technical Features

• 1st layer: “Cream” fabric from the royal crepe (Caviary) family. Lightweight and soft to the touch, offering both opacity and fluidity.

  • Front length: 110 cm

  • Back length: 155 cm

• 2nd and 3rd layers: Muslin fabric that can be adjusted to wear as a sitar.

• The cut of the 2nd and 3rd layers at the back varies depending on the adjustment (see photos).

• Includes niqab option with integrated ties.

Colors may vary depending on lighting. Photos are taken to be as faithful as possible to natural daylight shades.

Care Instructions

• Wash at 40°C maximum, with a gentle spin cycle (1000 rpm max).

• Avoid tumble-drying to prevent fabric creasing.

Tip 1: To avoid ironing after washing, hang your khimar on a hanger or a full-length clothes rack to dry.
Tip 2: If your garment builds up static electricity, lightly moisten your hands and run them over the fabric once worn.
